I went to bed at 1 am and fell asleep quite promptly after being tortured and bored by my notes ( i got another quiz today ). Suddenly I heard a man shouting loudly in Hokkien. His shouting was so loud, it roused me from my sleep. He continued shouting for quite a while and I heard my father waking up too. I joined my father in the kitchen and we continued to kaypoh to see who the guy was. He was shouting so loudly, it seemed as though he was just beside us. We are not the only people awake as I can see many of my neighbours waking up to see what the commotion was about and where the source of shouting came from.
Unfortunately, the mystery was not solved although there was a second man who started to shout in response. But the first guy was still much louder than him. If the first guy had continued shouting for the next half an hour, there would be an orchestra of music resulting from the neighbours shouting at him to stop, police siren sounding and lastly an irate shrill voice from a lady who has to wake up at 5 am the next morning to study.
After this exciting non-excitement, I went back to my bed only to wake up 3 hours later. Bah.2006-11-20
