I have the chance last week to observe an interview last week. Unfortunately the candidate was not good enough for our company. We can’t read her handwriting, 2 of her bra straps were on show, she is a job-hopper, half an hour late, did not research about the company, difficulty in understanding her. I could have gone on but at least I do learnt how to get answers by asking subtle-ly.

Some candidates really don’t put in their best for the interview. Not that the companies are choosy. Some candidates even complained about the past company and the whole interview becomes a complain session. One candidate even stole the pen I gave him. I used the word stole cause he put the pen in his shirt pocket. Maybe if he forget and put in his pocket, still can forgive. But shirt pocket is obvious and he can see the pen.

No surprise but he did not get the job.
