Is Fang Song Qing 方宋青 Gay?

I have absolutely nothing against LGBT but is it me or is Mediacorp portraying Fang Song Qing (方宋青) as a closet gay? 
It’s indeed true Sun Min (孙敏) is a girl in disguise as a guy but since Fang Song Qing is under the impression that Sun Min is really a guy yet he still have feelings for Sun Min, doesn’t that indicate that Fang Song Qing has gay tendencies?

Seems to me they are just copying the Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai story lah, which has been done so many times. Gay? Very straight: cos if are a guy, you will fall in love with a girl somehow, even if you don’t know she’s a girl. What’s more heterosexual than this?
Their sub-plot are rip-offs from Liang Shanbo & Zhu Yingtai and Jingzhi Yuye.
Anyway, there are plenty of LGBTs in media/entertainment. One day they will brainwash everyone to think Heterosexuality is traditional and Homosexuality is normal.
I thought today’s episode will have Sun Min reveal that she is a girl?
